Preparation | This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a Golden Syrian Hamster immunized with recombinant mouse CD28 protein). IgG fraction of the culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. |
Antigen | Recombinant mouse CD28 |
Application | IHC, FC |
Synonyms | Cd28 |
Description | CD28 and CTLA-4, together with their ligands, B7-1 and B7-2, constitute one of the dominant costimulatory pathways that regulate T and B cell responses. CD28 and CTLA-4 are structurally homologous molecules that are members of the immunoglobulin (Ig) gene superfamily. Mouse CD28 is expressed constitutively on virtually 100% of mouse Tcells and on developing thymocytes. |
