Reconstitution | Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute the antibody with 500 µl sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200 µg/ml. |
Stability and Storage | Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20°C for at least six months without detectable loss of activity. |
Preparation | This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a mouse) immunized with human recombinant protein of CNTFRa. |
Antigen | recombinant human CNTF R-alpha |
Application | WB |
Synonyms | CNTFR |
Description | The high-affinity CNTF receptor complex, which mediates the biological action of CNTF, contains the ligand-binding alpha subunit (CNTF R alpha) and two signal-transducing proteins, LIF R beta and gp130. Whereas LIF R beta and gp130 are widely expressed in many cell types, the expression of CNTF R alpha is restricted to the central and peripheral nervous systems. cDNAs encoding CNTF R alpha isolated from both human and rat share 96% amino acid sequence identity. |
