Description / CD151
CD151 is a tetraspanin superfamily glycoprotein expressed by endothelia, epithelia, megakaryocytes and platelets. It associates with other tetraspanin proteins and with some integrins including alpha 3/beta 1, alpha 6/beta 1, alpha 6/beta 4 and alpha 7/beta 1. CD151 modulates cellular adhesion, cell migration, and platelet activation.
