Description / Angiopoietin like-2
Angiopoietin like 2, also known as Ang related protein 2, is a secreted glycoprotein that is structurally related to angiopoietin. It does not bind the Tie1 or Tie2 receptors. Angiopoietin like 2 induces sprouting but is not mitogenic in endothelial cells.
